On-Site Walk-Through/Short Survey
"Short survey" of a vessel located in our service area, often remote to interested party.
Service Description
A walk-through is an advisory service whereby the client contracts Capital Marine Surveying, LLC to conduct a cursory inspection of a vessel—typically prior to making a formal offer. Such a service is billed per project at an agreed-upon rate, and is proceeded by a short-form report or video debrief, featuring images and videos (if the latter). A walk-through is typically conducted prior to a proper survey, and does not take the place of a comprehensive survey. Our Walk-through/Short Surveys are billed at half the rate of our C&V Surveys—so $15/foot base rate with additional modifiers for vessel age, size, and complexity.
Cancellation Policy
Service offerings are subject to the "Terms of Service" listed on the invoice, as well as any waiver(s) deemed necessary as a pre-requisite for the implementation of the selected service offering(s).
